[...] XMas Tree by Joe Hillman is an interesting 3D screen saver that decorates your desktop with textured ornaments. It’s strangely hypnotic as the screen rotates around a beautifully generated 3D tree while Christmas music plays in the background. Mac OS X 10.5 + (including Snow Leopard). [...]
Looks great in the YouTube video, but for some reason I don’t get a tree when I use it, just the ornaments! Running a late-2008 15″ MacBook Pro with 10.6.2
Hi Joe,
Love the screensaver, thank you. On my brand new 27″ iMac, the tree is just a small red two dimensional shape hanging in space with the other ornaments. Everything else looks great. Any idea what might be wrong?
Jason

Thanks,
Jason
For me the tree is invisible both on my 3 year old Intel Mac and my PPC G5. But it’s still a great screensaver – it’s fun to watch the ornaments float in the air and imagine the tree.
Hi!
How can I uninstall it? I installed this app on a mac mini by mistake.
