It’s a common question I receive through email and one I would like to answer once and for all
Follow these steps…
1) Click the ‘System Preferences’ icon on the dock.
2) Click the ‘Desktop & Screen Saver’ Icon.
3) Click the ‘Screen Saver’ tab.
4) Find the screen saver you would like to remove and control-click it and select ‘Move to Trash’.

Control click on the various files in the screensaver tab doesn’t do anything—no drop down menu, etc.
Using Mac os 10.6.3 on Mac Pro 2.66Ghz Quad core

Hey Todd,
You can only remove 3rd party screensavers. For example, all the screensavers under the other category can/should be removable from a control-click action.
